For years now I have lived two doors down from a house inhabited by goblins. I am not entirely sure I have proof of this assertion but here are the clues that have helped me arrive at this conclusion.
1. The house smells bad... like rotten beings live there
2. It's actually condemned... so the sounds I hear can't be from humans
3. There is a toilet in the side yard because goblins don't need toilets
4. A car sat in front of the house for a year or so and slowly had pieces go missing and goblins like eating metal
5. Strange humans lurk nearby... goblin helpers
What I don't understand is - who actually owns this house? I mean, this property has to be in the possession of someone... or some goblin. How can a house just sit there in a major busy section of West Asheville and not be noticed by the authorities? Maybe the police are afraid of goblins too.
As for me, I'm staying away. I must walk by it in order to get to Haywood Road so I just walk quickly and silently repeat anti-goblin chants to myself to ward them off like vampires. I need to do research on what food products scare them away.
And if a goblin is reading this, please be careful not to approach or attack me. I'm not someone you want to mess with. Really, I'm scrappy.
